Liene bridge - 15.089

Program

Complete mission for architectural and and structural design.

Specific features

The N270 will have a new route near Wanssum that will surround the residential area. The new bypass will provide a better quality of life in the village as transit traffic will be directed around the village centre from now on. In addition, the ring road is an important condition for the expansion of the port and industrial area of Wanssum. The new Liene bridge of the Rondweg crosses of the harbour of Wanssum. This bridge is located at the junction between the ring road and the canal of the harbour of Wanssum; It consists of prefabricated tubular girders with a span of 68 m. Abutments are built low on piles. Armed soil behind the front wall avoids the soil pressure against the latter.
